I took a few pictures last weekend and in the past I would have loaded them for you to see. However, TalkTalk have stopped supporting the site to which I used to load my picture files and I can't really be bothered with the hassle of setting up a new one with a different provider. Several sites to which I subscribe have very simple systems for loading pictures so that I can just copy picture files into a post from my own photo files. Is there any chance that the Ampthill site might get updated to allow this.

you can attach pictures using the upload attachment, not quite sure what size the picture needs to be though, it might be smallish if no one has changed it.

Thanks Carolyn - I thought I could only do it by linking to an image on a public web server.

I've tried adding a couple of pics as attachments and it works. It's very late, but tomorrow when I have some more time I'll try adding the rest of the images.

Thanks for your speedy assistance . . . . :D

I don't have access to change the size accepted, it used to be set smallish - in the days when webspace was premium, but now not so much.

I'm going to enter what I can and see what results. The illumination of the dais was not as good as in the past. When it was at the side of the road, overhead lighting was used and gave good coverage. Moving the dais to the centre of the street meant that all was lit from below and the lighting was much less even.

The system allows only three attachments, but I hope that I can make several entries and add three attachments to each.

Fingers crossed

The boss and I ate out last Friday. We returned to Ampthill in the late evening and since the town was reasonably quiet, decided to drive around the new lights with our dashcam switched on. I tidied up the resulting video and linked it to YouTube. You should be able to see it by clicking on the link below.

If anyone can give me a set of instructions to improve my YouTube video embedding technique I would be obliged . . . . :?

Great pictures & video Sagitar (as usual).

Does anybody have a guess (or know), how many individual LED lights are in the display?!!
