Popped in there today, they have a couple of temp exhibitions

and this - which although not local - liked his illustrations - he did a lot of adverts particularly for Shell, but lots of others

they have a whole section dedicated to local history, and how Bedford has evolved over the centuries with manufacturing, never realised that Meltis fruits were made here :)

It is all free, although parking nearby will cost. We had only put a couple of hours on the car and wanted to have lunch - which we did at the pantry - also nice. so need to go back and carry on visiting.
