There were lots of happy students at Redborne Upper School this morning as they collected their A-level results.
Three students – Alex Glynn-Davies, James Williams-Crowther and Rebecca Allen – will be off to Oxford and Cambridge after getting the grades they needed.
There were plenty of other impressive results too, with Ellie Yip (four A*s) and Lucy Turner (3 As) among the other high-fliers. They’re off to study medicine at Edinburgh and Birmingham respectively this year.
Initial results show that the Ampthill school recorded a 100 per cent pass rate and saw 59 per cent of students gaining A*-B grades (up three per cent on last year).
