I agree with you Scrabbler, somebody should have spoken up on behalf of those who shouted 'no. it's too many houses' but nobody listened. At the end of the day the deal was 'nodded' through because of the carrot that was held out--a car park for the town. I do not care to look back into those muddied waters, but muddy they were, and, as is so often the case , the world of developers, versus the community and those who represent it moved in a mysterious way.

Looks like it is almost done now, all the buildings seem to tall, and has changed the view at the rear of our house. 3 storey seems to be the way to go, I see the ones at the back of the Council offices and Russell house are also tall.
