Link to YouTube

Postby Sagitar » Thu Nov 09, 2017 10:16 am

I want to embed an MP4 video picture in a post to the forum.

When I do this on other sites, the method that I use is to load the MP4 onto YouTube and then make a link from YouTube to the site.

I've tried doing this in the forum using my usual link method and though I can make a connection I cannot get an embedded picture. Is there any available instruction for doing this?

I think you can do it a bit manually by using amending the link to include an [img] tag in the link bit

Thanks. I did actually try this, but I will have another go. There are so many variables to try, it's a bit like trying to find an unknown password.

I see you have changed your car Sagitar. Is this a Hybrid also?
I am interested as I used to run an Honda Insight but changed to a Civic (nice but a bit thirsty). Now looking for another Hybrid.
I am not keen on a Toyota Hybrid, so I am still looking. Must be an Automatic. Once you have an automatic you never want to go
back to the "stirring the pot".
