The aim of this web site is to produce a pictorial showcase of Ampthill and Ampthill life so that news, events or happenings (past or present) can be recorded for posterity. For a town of only 7,000 people, Ampthill manages to put on far more than its fair share of events. The highlight of these is the Ampthill Festival which just gets better each year. Now a three day event featuring AmpRocks on Friday, Proms in the Park on Saturday and finally the parade and gala day on Sunday. Other events are more unusual and reflect the wackier side of Ampthill - where else would you find frog and ferret racing?
The town is also home to various stars from the TV screen; we have our own town band, concert orchestra and several local groups offering pop or jazz. The Showcase of Local Talent section is there for these people to display their talent to a wider audience.
If you want to appear in the Showcase of Local Talent then please upload some video along with your details and email address. (Editor's decision is final!!)
